The last week of Term 3, 2015.

Addison brought his baby doll for show and tell.

Yikes! Batman came to visit too!

This is Frankie's special pen.

Roman started school this week, welcome Roman.

Te Pakira started school too, welcome Te Pakira!

We raised lots of money for Loud Shirt Day and here the children were feeling how heavy our donations were.

What a wonderful experience, counting real money!

As we have been learning about coins and notes, the opportunity to handle real coins and use them in our Maths was amazing.

This was out second week of swimming at the A.S.B.

We began playing dominoes and at first the children matched whatever they could  and from here we learned how to play according to the rules.

Amelia-Rose is a brilliant helper!

Show and tell, Noah and his friend Addison enjoying time together.

Dantae and Isaac sharing the rugby ball.

Now we can play dominoes according to the rules!

Our class before the break, we stretched from one door the the other!
Whenever a child leaves my class to go to another, I make them a special laminated leaving certificate with a collage of photos on the back, celebrating many of their experiences in Room One...These children have all been transitioning to move to Room Two at the start of Term 3. I will miss them all but we will still see a lot of each other, that's great!

I hope you are enjoying your holiday and apologies for not publishing this Blog earlier in the break!
