Would you believe I bought this t-shirt before I knew this book was in existence! What a great book we read from the school library - try it at home if you can, very thought-provoking! |
Sophie started school on Friday. |
We went on a visit to Birchwood Kindy |
Our poem was all about a toaster - a silver scaled dragon with jaws flaming red - I told my class they all have a dragon at home in the kitchen and one was in our little cupboard and came out to see us…Look at the expressions in our sheet photo, nobody knew what was under the sheet!
What a relief in the second picture to see a toaster!
Making toast... |
Yummy! |
Rocco announced this was his 'best day ever!' - the children consumed a full loaf of bread as toast in quarters, eating three quarters of a slice each as three little squares, taking turns for a buttered square each at a time.
Visiting Kindy
We went on a visit to Kindy and I have made a little book in our class with a page for every child so do come and enjoy the book in our class whenever you have a moment.
Super homework certificates. |
Dominic leaping at Birchwood Kindergarten. |
Rocco sharing the ladder. We made sets of children according to whether they were wearing socks or not - for fun as a result of our sorting Maths last week. |
