Week two in our lovely class.

Cooper is a visitor, he will soon be five and coming to join our class.

We went to the Kindy on Tuesday and they laid on a beautiful kai for us to share, thank you so much!

Jeremy had fun in the kitchen with Rusty.

Riley J is having a picnic.

Time to chill on the tyre swing.

Sand is awesome!

Brotherly love...

We love it here!

Back to class for more Three Bears maths - finding out which cup would suit daddy, mummy or baby bear by comparing volumes.

This is baby bears cup, the rice bubbles from mummy bears cup are falling out!

So..... whose cup has the most?

More tennis skills.

This is how to do it!

We can read these words.

Riley is learning to write.

Go Mason, filling your first sticker chart already!

We used this photo for the front cover of book about Dads - letters to dad, do come and read it in the purple corner with your child.

Extension after writing - matching upper and lower case letters, matching Jolly Phonics pictures...

Can we find the words which match the pictures too?

A new set of alphabet cards to enjoy...

Bella from Room 3 came to share her writing with us all - go, Bella you are on fire!

Jaxson reading his story to Mason. One day we will be able to write like these children!

Leo nearly knows all his letters, upper and lower case - can you spot the ones he is still learning?

Discovery time making a house together.

How many beads are on my necklace?

Problem solving - 3 butterflies, how many wings?

Everyone had a go at working out an answer using various materials...

When Caitlyn had finished she chose an abacus to count on and told me there were 25 blue beads.

Loving the counters, Mrs Savill!

Hmm, let me see, three butterflies with 4 wings each, 12 wings!

I have 75 beads now.

I can write some numbers myself.

Here is my beautiful butterfly which hatched.

We love buddy reading with Room 7.

We have matching drink bottles!

Three children leave our class today and go to join their friends in Karaka, room 3...

Great homework, chaps.

Riley is enjoying his photo collage.

Enjoy the long weekend and see you next week!
