Our swimming lessons at the ASB aquatic centre are fun.

More show and tell - our class is full!

Welcome to school, Cohen!

Off to Room One from Room Two on Loud Shirt day.

Thanks for your help girls.

Super writing!

More super writing!

Rebecca is also writing well now!

Star of the week , week nine.

Addison was our star this week, when we awarded certificates in class due to the swimming programme preventing our going to assembly in the afternoon as we normally would. Addison has been learning to self-manage, he is making great friends, settling happily in the mornings, learning to read so incredibly fast and writing little stories on his own. I am incredibly proud of your progress and the way you are managing your anxieties, Addison. Keep it up! :)

Star of the week, week eight!

Our star this week is Cooper to reflect his speedy rate of learning - he is reading so well and learning fast. he is a delightful boy, who makes good choices and always listens eagerly. It is a delight to have Cooper in Room One and I know he will be a good role model for our new children who start in the next couple of weeks and early next term.

Week eight already! Wow how time flies!!

This week money has been our focus in maths - we began by brainstorming what money is, why we need it, how we get it, what do we do with it and how do our parents get the money we need? Everyone had the chance to contribute their ideas and our final brainstorm is photocopied and in every maths book if you would like to have a look!

We also began our three day art challenge - developing and painting our amazing self portraits . These will be fundraisers for the home and school project this year - keep an eye on the school newsletter.

Isaac painting his face.

Amelia-Rose has filled her third sticker chart! Wow!

OnTuesday morning we went down to Monaco tree planting with Nelmac and our friends from Room 10 came as buddies to help us out.

Tyler and Joel planting  together.

Hard at work. What a lovely day, we were so fortunate to have the sun!

So many children to photograph, I took a panorama shot - hope you can spot your children!

Matthew has progressed so well with his Early Words!

Locklan has his second early words certificate now!

Cooper has completed his writing goal.

More painting - backgrounds and clothes.
